Request Materials Requesting Articles: Requesting Books: Some details: 1) if your local library doesn’t pick up shipping fees, you pay a flat rate of current Priority Mail prices for a box (currently $8.10) or an envelope (currently $4.05), per mailing (international shipping follows Global Priority Shipping Rates); 2) some rarer items may have use restrictions to protect them, limiting your use of them to your library building; and 3) some items may be too rare to lend, though copies of table of contents or indices are available to help you narrow your area of interest in the item, and your select areas may be copied and sent to you; 4) your local library should send an e-mail to the Librarian to request items, and they should include the title, author, and call number from the Library Catalog. Photocopy Charges: Copies are (including domestic shipping
costs -- international charges are separate and calculated at the time
of shipping): 1. Fill out the Library Materials Request Form and tally the total due. 2. Make checks (no cash) payable to: SOIC. 3. Mail
the form and the check in U.S. Dollars to: Visiting the Library
in Person:
