The purpose of the Library Committee is to represent the interests of the SOIC members in the following administrative matters of the Library.

1. Suggest materials to accession.
2. Approve deaccessioning of materials (with a minimum vote of 75%).
3. Approve changes to policies.
4. Help answer questions posed by Library users.
5. Advise the Librarian on any issues he/she would like feedback on.

Committee members serve a 1-year term, from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31. If you are interested in serving on the Library Committee, contact the Librarian.
