- inkwells, inkstands and ink bottles (primarily)
- related writing implements (secondarily)

The collection includes:

- original manufacturer's catalogs
- auction catalogs

History of the Library

The Library began in 2004 with a donation of materials from the late SOIC founder Vince McGraw's collection. Since then, it has been added to with donations from SOIC members, purchases, and in 2006 the generous donation of the entire Vince McGraw library. The Library continues to grow with the generous support of the SOIC members.

The online Library Catalog was launched 8-28-2006. Prior to that, select items were listed on the website.

The Library is a research resource for both Members and Non-Members (see Use Policy).
